Beth's framing for the role. Money decisions are mostly behavioral, not mathematical. The math is the easy part. The accountability and coaching is where outcomes change.

The story truly begins when my father passed away. I was only seven years old. Though the loss was emotionally devastating, the deeper pain came from watching my mother struggle every single day after that. She was left to navigate life without the guidance and support she desperately needed. Sadly, she wasn’t knowledgeable about managing money, and without a mentor who could offer sound financial advice, we suffered greatly as a family.
My mother, not knowing any better, spent our resources carelessly and without accountability. To be honest, it hurt me deeply, as I felt helpless. I wanted to help, but I was just a child. That feeling of helplessness was unbearable, and it's a feeling I will never forget. By the time I was sixteen, my mother filed for bankruptcy. By nineteen, we had lost our home. It was a terrible domino effect that continued to shape my childhood in ways I will never fully be able to express.
That experience burned into me a single promise: I never wanted to see anyone suffer like that again. I was determined to never feel that powerless again. I made a vow to myself that I would become as knowledgeable as possible about money, both to secure my own future and to help others avoid the struggles I had witnessed.
I majored in accounting, became a financial advisor, and committed myself to empowering families to take charge of their resources and live the life they dreamed of.
Over the years, I have realized that many people, just like my mother, don't fully understand how to use their finances. They're often afraid to ask questions or don't know what to ask. This lack of financial literacy can paralyze them with fear and uncertainty, making them feel like they're constantly on the edge of running out of resources. The truth is, that fear is unnecessary.
I have seen firsthand how financial knowledge can transform lives. I have helped countless people achieve more than they ever thought possible, breaking through the fear and confusion. I have seen families thrive, and I have witnessed the satisfaction that comes from knowing they're in control of their financial futures.
I love what I do because it isn't just about numbers. It's about changing lives. It doesn't matter where you're on your financial journey, whether you're wealthy or just starting out. Everyone needs a mentor who not only has the experience but also has the heart to guide them toward their goals.

Because money decisions are mostly behavioral. The arithmetic of a financial plan is straightforward; what trips people up is following the plan when life gets hard. A personal trainer doesn't lift the weights for you; they hold you to the schedule, correct the form, and adjust the program. The work is the same in personal finance.
