Fiduciary CFP® Fee-Based Independent Firm Boca + Plantation Offices
Why Clients Choose Us

A wealth manager built for the long haul, not the next transaction.

Fiduciary on every recommendation

Our CFP is held to the fiduciary standard. Legally required to act in your best interest on every account, every recommendation.

Fee-based and transparent

Most of our compensation is advisory fees, fully disclosed up front. Where commissions apply on insurance or annuities, we disclose those too.

Independent, not a wirehouse rep

No house product quotas. No sales pressure. Independent advisory, with a direct point of contact at the firm.

Personal trainer for your money

The accountability and coaching around real decisions (career changes, business exits, widowhood, inheritance) is where most of the value shows up.

One team, not a rotating cast

A planning team that knows your file, plus an enrolled agent for tax preparation in-house. Not a 1-800 number or a new advisor every year.

South Florida-rooted, nationally licensed

Offices in Boca Raton and Plantation. Licensed in all 50 states so existing clients keep their advisor when they move.

A More Personal Standard

Wealth Planning Built Around Your Life.

Your financial life isn't a product. It's a structure that deserves careful design.

For decades, our firm has quietly served families who value thoughtful guidance over noise, structure over speculation, and partnership over transactions.

Today, Intercoastal Wealth Planning carries forward the legacy of Integrity Wealth Planning, working alongside its sister firm, Chesapeake Financial (Annapolis, MD). Same independence. Same client-first work.

  • Every recommendation grounded in transparency and education.
  • An objective, individualized investment philosophy.
  • Integrated planning across investments, tax, retirement, and estate.
  • Built to evolve with you as your life changes.
Our Approach

How We Work With You.

Every client relationship follows the same four-phase rhythm. Slower than a single-meeting plan, faster than open-ended consulting.

01

Discovery Conversation

Free first call. We map what's going on, what matters most, and where the gaps and decisions are. No selling, no slide deck.

02

Plan Build

Cash flow, tax positioning, investment policy, beneficiary audit, estate hand-off. We document the actual plan, not a generic binder.

03

Implementation

Accounts open, beneficiaries updated, Roth conversions filed, allocations rebalanced. We do the work alongside you, not at you.

04

Quarterly Review

We meet on a real cadence. Tax law moves, markets move, life moves. The plan moves with them. You always have a current view.

What We Do

Among The Services We Offer In South Florida.

Most relationships use several of these at once. The investment strategy, the tax plan, and the estate work all reference each other.

Tax

Tax Planning

Year-round tax-sensitive investing, Roth conversion strategy, capital gains, and year-end positioning. Tax prep handled in-house by our enrolled agent.

Estate

Estate Planning

Beneficiary review, intergenerational wealth transfer, charitable giving, and legacy planning. Coordinated with our in-house planner or your estate attorney.

Who We Serve

Built For Specific Moments In Life And Work.

We work with clients at every life stage. These are the moments where specialized planning matters most:

Pre-Retirees

For clients in their 40s, 50s, and early 60s coordinating the Social Security decision, Medicare timing, Roth conversion windows, and the income plan that follows.

Business Owners

For founders and owners. The planning runs from operating the business through eventual transition or sale.

Executives

For C-suite leaders with concentrated equity, deferred compensation, and the planning that comes with senior roles.

Inheritors

For clients receiving an inheritance, sudden or expected. Help making steady decisions in a moment when steady is hard.

Professional Women

For women in their career-building years working through equity comp, executive comp, and the planning that supports both.

Divorced Women

For women rebuilding financial independence after divorce. Coaching, accountability, and a real plan for what's next.

Widows

For women facing financial decisions for the first time after the loss of a spouse. Patience and a step-by-step approach.

Stay in the loop.

Quarterly notes on retirement strategy, tax law changes, and what we're watching in the markets. From a fiduciary CFP, written for clients (not the financial press).

What Clients Say

What Wealth Management Clients Say

★★★★★

"Beth doesn't just give you a plan. She holds you to it. When my husband passed away, she walked me through every decision with patience. I had been a client for years and didn't realize how much that mattered until then."

Jane M. Estate & retirement planning, Boca Raton

★★★★★

"I sold my business last year. The team had us prepared for the tax side a full two years before the deal closed. The post-sale planning saved us from a few decisions I would have regretted."

Michael R. Business exit & investment management, Plantation

★★★★★

"After my divorce I needed someone who would help me build a real plan, not just sell me something. They treated me like a partner. They explained everything and never pushed."

Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a fiduciary financial advisor do?

A fiduciary financial advisor is legally required to act in your best interest at all times. At Intercoastal Wealth Planning, our Certified Financial Planner is held to the fiduciary standard. The job is to coordinate your wealth across investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and life-stage transitions like divorce, widowhood, business succession, or inheritance.

What's a fee-based wealth management firm?

A fee-based wealth management firm is compensated primarily through advisory fees disclosed up front. The advisory work is held to the fiduciary standard. Fee-based is different from fee-only because additional product categories may apply at the client's direction, with separate disclosure. Intercoastal Wealth Planning is fee-based and the CFP is a fiduciary on all advisory recommendations.

What's the minimum to work with Intercoastal?

Intercoastal Wealth Planning works mostly with families and individuals at household incomes of $250,000 or above, plus business owners, professional women, widows, and inheritors at similar wealth tiers. The planning approach is built for clients who want a long-term coordinated relationship, not a one-time transaction.

Do you work with clients outside Boca Raton and Plantation?

Yes. The two offices serve Boca Raton, Plantation, and the surrounding Palm Beach and Broward County communities. We're also licensed to advise clients in all 50 states, and many existing client relationships run fully virtually after the first one or two in-person meetings.

How do I find a financial advisor I can trust?

Start with the fiduciary standard. Is the advisor legally required to act in your best interest at all times, on every recommendation? Then check credentials (CFP is the gold standard for personal financial planning), compensation transparency, and how they handle the unglamorous parts of the job. Beneficiary updates, tax coordination, the email you send at 9 PM.

What makes Intercoastal different from a large brokerage?

Intercoastal is independent and boutique. You work with the planning team directly, not a 1-800 number or a different advisor each year. The work centers on coaching and accountability around the financial decisions that move the needle, rather than performance against an index.
